Driverless

tesla driverless car

Here we go again more drivel about the end of conventional cars as we know them…. to be replaced we are told by “driverless” cars before 2020 which allegedly won’t be capable of having a crash…

Apart from a prohibitive vehicle purchase price, no legislative body in the world has adequately grappled with the legalities of driverless cars if there is a crash.

What happens with third party injury claims?

No legislative body in the world has adequately grappled with the legalities of driverless cars if there is a crash.

Who pays for any damage? The car?

Who is ultimately responsible for the driverless car, the operator and will passengers have to sign an indemnity to ride in one.

Too hard.

Catch the train, bus, tram, ferry if the car’s a problem.
