I love to drive my 1989 BMW M3 because it’s old school, rear wheel drive and the four cylinder, naturally aspirated, 2.3-litre engine will rev beyond 8000rpm.
Because the M3 is fully road registered, I drive it to the racetrack and then back home after.
The car takes more mental effort to drive because it doesn’t have any electronic assistance systems like cars today.
Then there’s the pedigree… back in the day, BMW made a road car from a track car and this is the result.
What a car… love it.
